A $20.00 appointment fee is required when scheduling the appointment. 

  • All appointment fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
  • If you must cancel your appointment, please call us 7 days before your appointment.
  • If you do not call to cancel your appointment, your credit card will be charged a $20.00 no-show fee. 
  • For appointments that are rescheduled, the appointment fee is transferred, you will only pay the appointment fee once.

We ask that no more than 4 people accompany the bride and no one under the age of 12. 

Gentlemen are welcome in all areas of the store except for dressing rooms or dressing room areas. This is to protect brides and gentlemen from being embarrassed while dresses are being tried on.

We DO NOT allow any babies or small children under the age of 12.

Due to the vast diversity of our customers with different cultures and religious affiliations, we do not allow alcohol. Also, since all of our customers travel a long distance, we guard against drinking and driving.

Saturdays and sale days appointments are for an hour and a half and start at 9:00 am. Tuesday through Friday appointments start at 10:00 am and are for two hours and can possibly be longer on non-sale days, just ask when making your appointment.

Yes! We realize a bride's time is precious, so we carry options to complete each bride's ensemble. 

The Better Business Bureau recommends ordering gowns and accessories at the same time in order to best know how the complete ensemble will look. Ordering your gown, veil and headpiece at the same time ensures that your entire ensemble is ready for alterations and portraits. 

You may order your veil and headpiece after your gown arrives, but be aware that veils and headpieces take one and a half months or longer to arrive after ordering while sashes & belts can take as long as a wedding gown to arrive.

Low’s has a total of 25 dressing rooms: 13 downstairs and 12 in the plus size department.

If you prefer a more relaxed experience, we recommend making an appointment on a Wednesday or Thursday (the only exception is during our Semi- Annual Sales).  Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays tend to be our busier days of the week. 

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Debit cards & cash. 

Low's carries thousands of gowns, sizes 2-32, in stock. If a bride selects an in-stock gown, she may take it home the day she purchases it.

All sales are final. This final sales policy is consistent with the industry standard for bridal and special occasion apparel.

Special order gowns are shipped to Low’s as our designer will not ship directly to the bride. Once the gown arrives at Low’s we will carefully inspect the gown.

The bride will be called immediately upon arrival of the gown. You may make an appointment to pick up your gown and other accessories or Low’s can ship them to you.

All packages are shipped FedEx Home Delivery unless you request and pay for a two day or overnight shipping. Your consultant will confirm your address before shipping.

There is a charge for shipping. All gowns and accessories are insured. Every gown is shipped with a signature required.

Low’s has sales twice a year. The sales are around Christmas and again in the Summer. Each sale offers thousands of gowns in sizes 4-32. These gowns are sold off-the-rack and cannot be ordered. 

All sales are final. This final sales policy is consistent with the industry standard for bridal and special occasion apparel.

When you order a gown, Low’s staff will take your measurements over just your bra and underwear. This insures snug body measurements. (Measurements should never be taken over clothing.)

We will compare your measurements to the designer’s size chart. Each designer/line has its own size chart. Low’s will make a size recommendation, but the bride is allowed to order any size she chooses. If your measurements fall between sizes it is best to order the larger size as gowns can be taken up but may not have extra fabric to be let out.

 Alterations are not included in the purchase price of a gown.

Bridal gowns are cut differently than normal clothing. Most brides order or buy a gown 1 to 2 sizes larger than they usually wear.

The average arrival is 5 ½ - 6 months. Low’s places each order the same day as your purchase is made, even if your wedding date is a year or more away. This gives our brides the quickest ship date possible. Special ordering your gown with changes may take a little longer, and payment in full is required for special hems and custom changes. Rush shipping is available from most designers, but must be requested when order is placed.
